Capt. Scott Patrick Sciple was booked and released from jail on $25,500 bail Tuesday afternoon according to a report in the St. Pete Times.

An assistant principal at Osceola County’s St. Cloud High School was arrested in Tampa and charged with a Hillsborough County DUI. According to numerous reports on Orlando TV station websites, 35-year-old Jeffrey Schwartz was arrested following a 1:00 a.m. stop Saturday in Tampa.
According to one report Schwartz was driving the wrong way down a Tampa street when he was stopped. He has since bonded out of jail. The saga of a woman on DUI probation for a Tampa DUI manslaughter conviction continued on Wednesday. Tiffany Marie Graham has been sentenced to six years in prison for violating her DUI manslaughter probation by leaving Hillsborough County without permission. The conviction dates back to a 2004 drunk driving accident that cost her 15-year-old passenger her life.
Graham was sentenced to one year in jail and six years probation following that fatal crash. She avoided a harsh Florida DUI sentence following that accident but she wasn’t so lucky this time after violating her probation.…

In May of 2004 15-year-old Deanna Cain was killed in a DUI crash that landed her 19-year-old friend Tiffany Marie Graham in jail for one year on DUI manslaughter charges. Graham was 19 at the time and she was sentenced as a youthful offender. While Cain’s family never wanted Graham to serve a 15-year prison sentence they also worried that just one year in jail wasn’t enough either according to TampaBay.com. It seems the young girl’s parents were right.

An actor who appeared in 41 episodes of HBO’s TV series The Soprano’s was arrested for DUI in Tampa Thursday evening with reported blood-alcohol levels of .111. Joseph Gannascoli played a mobster named Vito Spatafore who was killed during the TV series after nearly 50 appearances on the show.
Gannascoli was arrested in Hyde Park where he was pulled over at 2:42 a.m. According to the arresting officer the New York resident made a wide turn onto Kennedy Blvd. from Howard Avenue. Justin Michael Jones was sentenced to five years in prison today following a plea bargain on a Tampa DUI manslaughter charge, three counts of DUI with serious bodily injury and two misdemeanor charges of DUI with personal injury. The 28-year-old will also have to serve 10 years probation when he is released from prison.

Christopher Scott Odum decided to take a dangerous approach to avoiding a possible Tampa DUI charge. The 37-year-old allegedly tried to run a deputy off the road in hopes of escaping a drunk driving arrest. The plan didn’t work and all it really did was result in more charges and luckily none of them included an injury or a death.
