A Tampa man who was discovered by police asleep behind the wheel of a running car Monday night is facing a Tampa DUI and drug charges. According to 10 Connects, Joe Ben Sirmans had cocaine and muscle relaxants with him in his car when police investigated the man and his vehicle.
Sirmans was apparently driving with a suspended license at the time police found him unresponsive in the car. There were 54 tablets of Carisoprodol and 32 grams of coke along with almost $1400 in cash in the vehicle. After a DUI investigation, Sirmans was charged and his car was impounded.
