Tampa DUI News – Father Of Young Girl Nearly Killed By In A Drunk Driving Accident Arrested For Second DUI

Tampa DUI Attorney

The father of a young Tampa girl who nearly lost her life in a drunk driving accident has been arrest for a second DUI, this time in Texas. Summer Moll was nearly killed in a head-on accident with a drunk driver that took the life of her mother. Apparently that wasn’t enough of a lesson for her estranged father who was arrested in Tampa for DUI and now has been arrested in Texas for a DWI.

According to investigators and reported by My Fox Tampa Bay, Josh Moll was charged with DUI in Tampa but jumped bail and ended up in Texas. He is scheduled to appear in Travis County court for his second DUI charge but an anonymous family member told the TV station that they have heard Moll will flee once again to escape prosecution on another DUI charge.

Fox 13 was able to reach Josh Moll but he declined to comment on his arrest. Moll was never a part of his daughter’s life. According to numerous reports he showed up seeking custody after Summer Moll’s mother died in the car accident. He was not granted custody over the young girl who is being raised by her grandparents.

The woman who killed Summer Moll’s mother and nearly killed Summer as well, recently pled guilty to DUI manslaughter charges in a Tampa courtroom. She will be sentenced in October and she is facing anywhere from 12 to 23 years in prison. Cheryl Riemann had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit when she entered the Crosstown Expressway in the wrong direction causing the head-on collision. Summer Moll was 4-years-old at the time and has spent two years recovering from her injuries. Her mother, Jennifer O’Boyle, was 24 at the time of her death.
