JUDGE ASSIGNMENTS IN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
Unlike other surrounding jurisdictions where defendants cases are assigned randomly, your DUI charge will be assigned to a particular Judge and Division based on the first letter of your last name. In Hillsborough County, each Judge has a certain number of cases they are allowed to handle and to separate the caseload fairly, cases are separated by name.
Judge James Dominguez – Courtroom 20 (Division A)
Judge Dominguez handles all cases, traffic and misdemeanor, for defendants whose last names begin with the letters “G,” “S,” “O.”
Judge Eric Myers – Courtroom 12 (Division B)
Judge Myers handles all cases, traffic and misdemeanor, for defendants whose last names begin with the letters “B,” “F,” and “P.”
Judge John Conrad – Courtroom 24 (Division C)
Judge Conrad, whose Courtroom is located on the first floor of the Courthouse, handles all traffic and misdemeanor cases for defendants whose last names begin with the letters “D,” “M,” “N,” “X,” and “Y.”
Judge Dick Greco – Courtroom 23 (Division D)
Judge Greco handles all traffic and misdemeanor case for defendants whose last names begin with the letters “C,” K,” and “R.”
Judge Richard Weis – Courtroom 23 (Division E)
Judge Conrad handles all traffic and misdeameanor cases for defendants whose last names begin with the letters “H,” “L,” and “W.”
Judge Paul Jeske – Courtroom 21 (Division G)
Judge Thomas handles all traffic and misdeameanor case for defendants whose last names begin with the letters “A,” “E,” “J,” “Q,” “T,” “U,” and “V.”
PLANT CITY
Judge Art McNeil – Plant City Courthouse
If you were arrested east of Route 301 in Hillsborough County, your case will be assigned to the Plant City Courthouse. Located at 301 N. Michigan Avenue in Plant City, the Courthouse only has one criminal court room. Judge McNeil presides over all cases in Plant City regardless of the spelling of your last name.
