Owner Of Three Tampa Bay Restaurants Arrested For A Second DUI

New Port Richey police arrested Michael L. Lowe on charges of DUI Saturday night. Lowe is the owner of three Tampa Bay restaurants and this is his second arrest for driving under the influence according to TampaBay.com. Police report Lowe was weaving in his silver Mercedes when they received a complaint about a possible drunk driver.

Upon pulling over the 66-year-old, Lowe admitted to having had two rum and cokes in two hours. Police say Lowe performed poorly on field sobriety tests and then took a Breathalyzer test. He reportedly blew a 0.106 and 0.108, above the legal limit of 0.08. At that point Lowe was arrested and taken to Pasco County jail. The Tarpon Springs resident owns Catches Waterfront Grill, Captain Jack’s and The Riverside Venue.
