According to 10Connects.com, USF Police conducted a Tampa DUI checkpoint on the campus of the University of South Florida Saturday morning. The DUI checkpoint was scheduled to last for one hour and was intended to stop drunk driving in Tampa on the USF campus.
The USF Police Department conducted the DUI checkpoint in an overall effort to enhance traffic safety on theTampa campus. Impaired drivers would be charged and arrested according to the story. There were no immediate results released as far as number of arrests made for drunk driving.
