In 2008, 17-year-old Hannah Nicole Price T-boned a car driven by Johnny Rae Grates and Kristina Greganova on U.S. 301 in Zephyrhills.Price allegedly had marijuana, alcohol and a tranquilizer in her system at the time of the accident. She was charged with DUI with seriously bodily injury and is facing a 10-year prison sentence.
Grates and Greganova were at every hearing for the teenager up until the time Greganova passed away from cancer and Grates brought her to court in her urn. Grates had been pursuing for a long sentence for Price but that all changed this week when he asked the court to spare Price from prison for the DUI accident. Price’s Tampa DUI attorney allowed his client to apologize to Grates and is now working on a plea bargain for the woman.
