Marcus Johnson was allegedly found asleep at the wheel of his 2010 Chevy Impala outside of Raymond James Stadium early Tuesday morning. According to the St. Petersburg Times Johnson’s car was in the middle of the intersection of N. Dale Mabry and Martin Luther King Blvd. at approximately 4:00 a.m.
A Tampa police lieutenant approached the car and woke up the back-up offensive lineman. He then called for a DUI investigator to come to the scene. Johnson agreed to field sobriety tests but he then refused to take a breath test. He was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on a DUI charge. The 27-year-old has only been with the team for a month.
