An early morning crash on State Road 54 led to the arrest of a Tampa woman on charges of DUI and DUI causing personal injury. According to Florida Highway Patrol reports and a story on TampaBay.com, Wendy L. Hollahan caused a four-carcrash after passing out while driving. Authorities say the 39-year-old woman was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.
Hallohan allegedly told troopers she “felt like drinking a big margarita” following the crash and she was unable to stand. The woman reportedly told the officers she might have blacked out before the crash and then she fell asleep for 30 minutes in the back of the patrol car on her way to jail. She was being held in Land O’Lakes jail.
