A woman driving a red Acura early Friday morning allegedly was driving drunk in downtown Tampa when she ran a red light and smashed into a crime scene technician van. Jessica Lynn Davis was arrested on DUI charges and taken to Hillsborough County jail. TampaBay.com is reporting the woman refused to give a blood-sample.
The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. according to the story. The driver of the crime scene van was taken to the hospital with minor injuries related to the air bags deploying. Davis was being held on $500 bail. The collision happened on North Florida Avenue. The woman accused of DUI is said to be from Lakeland.
